Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for clients, using standardized tools and interviews to ascertain their mental health concerns and history. Develop tailored treatment plans that reflect clients’ individual needs, personal goals, and therapeutic methods aligned with best practices. Provide individual therapy sessions that integrate evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, or mindfulness techniques to guide clients towards effective coping strategies. Collaborate with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals and regularly assess progress through feedback and data to ensure accountability and support. Facilitate teletherapy sessions for clients who prefer virtual engagement or face logistical challenges in attending in-person appointments. Maintain meticulous client records, ensuring all documentation meets ethical and legal standards, while reflecting our commitment to exceptional care. Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and peer consultations to enhance your clinical acumen and stay current with emerging therapies. Patient Population / Client Focus As a member of our team, you will provide care to diverse populations, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various emotional distress issues. Our clients often come to us seeking guidance through transitional phases of life and emotional challenges, and it will be your role to help them navigate these experiences with empathy and support. Qualifications Possess a current and valid mental health license in the state of Tennessee, such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC/MHSP, or PsyD. Hold a Master’s degree or doctoral degree in a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Exhibit strong communication skills, enabling the establishment of a trusting therapeutic relationship to promote open dialogues with clients. Demonstrate a high level of empathy, understanding, and professionalism, ensuring all clients feel welcomed and respected in their healing journey. Showcase exceptional organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively while attending to all administrative elements of client care. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting where you provided individual counseling. Prior experience in a private practice is advantageous but not a requirement. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience offering virtual therapy sessions will be considered a plus.
