About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty License: MT license required for ARRT; must be applied for immediately upon offer acceptance Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT-R or CCI RCIS preferred Must-Have: Both ARRT and RCIS candidates qualify Previous charge experience of 2 years preferred Experience with PACS preferred Ability to float within the hospital or affiliate facility as necessary Description: This position requires a highly skilled Cath Lab Tech. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of various cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and inventory, and setting up imaging equipment. The role involves accurate monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Candidates should be proficient in various cardiac procedures, including diagnostic catheterizations and interventional techniques. Experience with fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring is important. Candidates will perform specific procedures such as ASD closures, cardiac stent placements, and various catheterizations. High standards of sterile technique must be maintained throughout procedures. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to patient care and safety at all times.
