General Cleaner - Evening Shift - (Main St & N. Belvidere St Area)

If you would rather put in a focused shift on your own than spend the night dealing with customers, this is that kind of job. You will clean a commercial office building in downtown Richmond after the tenants have gone home, working a short evening shift with the same hours every week. No experience needed. We will teach you our methods, and the equipment and supplies are provided.

Pay

• $13.75/hour

Schedule

• 3 hours per night, Monday through Friday, about 15 hours per week
• Shift begins at 5:30pm
• Same schedule every week. Good fit alongside school, a day job, or family obligations

What you'll do

• Provide a clean, secure, and safe environment for the people who work in the building
• Perform trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and restroom cleaning
• Follow the building's cleaning plan and complete your assigned areas within the shift
• Work productively with your ServiceMaster team members
• Respond promptly to requests and concerns from the client and building occupants
• Report supply needs, equipment problems, and safety hazards to your supervisor
• Secure your areas before leaving for the night

What you'll need

• Authorization to work in the United States
• Education and work history that demonstrate work ethic and responsibility
• Ability to communicate effectively with client contacts, building occupants, and coworkers
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as a contributing member of a team
• Dependability. Showing up on schedule is the single most important part of this job
• Able to stay on your feet for the full shift and perform all tasks, including walking, bending, stooping,
twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, crouching, and lifting.
