Come explore Novanta.As a Manufacturing Engineer contractor, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and improving manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop solutions. Your focus will be on optimizing production processes, reducing costs and ensuring compliance. This project will take place through early 2027.Responsibilities:Providing technical support to production teamsDeveloping and implementing manufacturing processes and systemsDesigning tools and equipment used in the manufacturing processConducting root cause analysis, troubleshoot, and improve processes.Ensuring products are manufactured to meet quality standards Process ImprovementsBuilding manufacturing efficiency and cost savingsRequirements:Education - Possess a bachelor's in computer science or a related fieldSkill - Proficiency in technical problem-solvingExperience - Several years of manufacturing engineering or manufacturing optimizationExperience - Be familiar with multiple programming languages such as Python, C#, and C/C++Skill - Have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teamsSkill - Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectivelyNovanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
