Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Fee For Service

Job Summary Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to practice in Toms River, New Jersey. Clinicians must be licensed and living in the state where they will practice. Compensation This is a Fee for Service (W2) position, with a range of $71,000 to $102,000 per year based on 15‑20 clinical hours per week. Responsibilities Provide care to a diverse population of clients with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. Work with adults and adolescents, with future focus on expanding care across the lifespan. Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in both in‑person and telemedicine capacities. See intakes in person and conduct follow‑up visits every 90 days. Prescribe medication as needed to reduce mental health symptoms. Create and collaboratively develop care plans with clients. Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients. Adhere to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines. Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services across sites. Qualifications Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Board Certification. Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state. Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus. At least 1 year of psychiatry practice; 3 years of overall experience is a plus. Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner must be licensed and live in the state where they will practice. Availability of 15‑20 hours per week for part‑time work. Completion of an in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards and passing a brief exam. Benefits Remote Medical Assistants. Guaranteed, bi‑weekly pay. 401(k) with 3% employer match.
