Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU / Trauma ICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed ICU/Trauma ICU setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1–2
• Manage and titrate drips including vasopressors and sedation medications
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips independently at the bedside
• Care for complex patient populations including trauma, neuro/stroke, head injuries, and post-TPA patients
• Operate and monitor ventilators (Hamilton vents) in collaboration with Respiratory Therapy
• Float as needed to PCU, CICU, telemetry, or med-surg units within the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2–3 years of ICU specialty experience
• Experience with ICP monitoring and ventriculostomies, OR demonstrated experience with post-TPA patients
• Experience caring for trauma patients is required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to titrate vasopressors and sedation drips independently
• Must pass an onsite proctored Dysrhythmia Test on day one (pass/fail)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience, particularly in large, fast-paced facilities
• PALS certification (required if assignment extends beyond 6 months)
• Familiarity with Hamilton ventilators and GE telemetry monitoring systems
