Why You’ll Love Working Here Opportunity to earn $18–$25/hr including tips depending on shifts and performance Work in one of Utah’s most recognized upscale restaurants Opportunity to collaborate with experienced hospitality professionals Opportunity for growth and advancement withing the organization A team culture built on professionalism, teamwork, and high standards Key Responsibilities Clear tables promptly and efficiently by removing dishes, glassware, and utensils Reset tables to restaurant standards including proper placement of linens, silverware, and glassware Assist servers by refilling water glasses and providing guest support when needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, side stations, and service areas Assist with polishing silverware, glassware, and restocking supplies Support servers and runners during high-volume service periods Assist with private events, large parties, and busy service shifts Contribute to a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and guest-focused service Perform additional duties as assigned What We’re Looking For Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Strong work ethic and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment Consistent reliability and punctuality Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization Professional demeanor with a guest-focused mindset Job Environment/Other Job Requirements May be required to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays, to accommodate business needs Standing and walking for extended periods of time Ability to repetitively bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, as well as abide by all company policies Takes on additional duties as required or assigned by management Compensation $7.00/hr + Tips (Top bussers can earn $18-$25/hr depending on shift availability, guest volumes, and individual performance) This range is inclusive of multiple job levels. Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data. Its history traces back to the prestigious Hotel Utah, which was built in 1911. After 76 years as a hotel, the building closed for renovations and reopened in 1993 as a social center. In remodeling the building, the beloved attributes of service, hospitality and quality that graced the hotel were lovingly preserved in The Joseph Smith Memorial Building. In 1988, Temple Square Hospitality was organized to service the dining needs of those visiting Temple Square and Salt Lake City. Since then, it has grown into a full‑scale catering department, a fine‑dining 10th floor restaurant, and a quick‑service restaurant in the lobby of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
