Key Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients using Varian TrueBeam treatment systems
- Operate and utilize VisionRT surface-guided radiation therapy technology during treatment delivery
- Document and manage patient treatment records using Aria EMR
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment setup in accordance with prescribed plans
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and departmental protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Virginia (VA) Radiation Therapist license required at time of submittal
- RT(T) certification required
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience using Varian treatment systems
- Hands-on experience with Varian TrueBeam, VisionRT, and Aria EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume radiation oncology setting
- Familiarity with advanced treatment techniques and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT)
