You will be the Software Engineer Sr. Staff for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. What You Will Be Doing As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and integrating software solutions for real-time embedded systems, including hardware in the loop (HWIL) environments. Your Responsibilities Will Include Develop Embedded Software in C/C++ (version 11 or higher) Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

Basic Qualifications The candidate must have previous experience working with real time software Proficiency in C/C++ (version 11 or higher for C++) Proficiency in Linux systems and Real-Time Operating Environment Experience Integrating hardware and software Experience in real-time software generation, with hands‑on experience related to hardware testing and/or embedded systems and/or a simulation systems Desired Skills BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software or Similar Ability to physically come on site in Dallas and work in labs to support integration Experience with low level software development /device drivers Experience working in cross-discipline/cross-functional teams MS or greater in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field Full software development life cycle experience Git, Gitlab, JIRA VxWorks experience Agile experience (scrum) Experience integrating closed loop systems Experience with automated testing frame works as well unit testing Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $148300.00 - $275500.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
