The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, order status, and delivery schedules.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, shipping errors, or service issues.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions within the CRM system.
• Provide product information and technical assistance to customers, guiding them through product selection and usage.
• Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify and escalate recurring customer issues or potential product improvements to relevant departments.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes or product lifecycle
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents or blueprints
• Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., CX, conflict resolution)
