Senior Accountant

Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Overview The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, payroll processing, check disbursements, and preparation of financial statements. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with leadership. Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy of all financial data. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Process payroll and manage related reporting requirements. Handle check processing and disbursements in a timely and accurate manner. Perform account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. Support audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with leadership and provide financial insight to support business decisions. Identify and recommend process improvements for accounting procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 3–5+ years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
