Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Ad Astra Behavior Analytic Services is seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. This is a full-time opportunity offering $55–$70 per hour, with flexible scheduling and a workplace culture that values and supports work-life balance.

About the Role

As a BCBA with Ad Astra, you will play an essential role in developing and overseeing individualized ABA services that support meaningful outcomes for clients and their families.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and supervising individualized behavior support plans
• Mentoring and guiding behavior technicians
• Completing client assessments
• Collaborating closely with families and interdisciplinary professionals
• Facilitating staff trainings
• Evaluating team performance
• Supporting a collaborative, positive, and professional work environment
• Attending IEP and IFSP meetings, as required, to support client advocacy and coordination of services

Qualifications

• Master's degree and current BCBA certification (required)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
• Spanish speaking is valued but not required

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

• Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and transition between floor-level and standing positions throughout the workday.
• Actively participate in developmentally appropriate client activities, including floor-based activities, movement-based activities, transitions, and safety monitoring.
• Safely navigate assigned work environments, including homes, clinics, schools, community settings, and remote/telehealth settings, as applicable.
• Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or move therapy materials and equipment, typically up to 50 pounds.
• Sit for extended periods while providing telehealth services or completing computer-based work as needed.
• Use hands and fingers to operate computers, keyboards, mobile devices, and other equipment requiring fine motor coordination.
• Maintain visual and auditory awareness to observe client behavior, monitor safety, and communicate effectively in both in-person and virtual settings.
• Read, understand, retain, and apply written and verbal information.
• Maintain attention, concentration, situational awareness, and sound judgment in dynamic environments.
• Collect, record, and submit accurate client data and session documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Maintain professionalism and emotional resilience when addressing sensitive client or employee matters, complaints, and workplace concerns.
