Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans. Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, delegate and coordinate care, and ensure patient safety and satisfaction. Maintain professionalism by adhering to legal and ethical standards, proper documentation, and scope of practice. Unit Details: Work in a fast-paced Neuro Trauma Med-Surg unit with 32 beds, including ICU step-down beds, specializing in stroke, head injuries, spinal injuries, surgeries, and medical/surgical patients. Qualifications: Current RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN (preferred and required after a certain date). RNs with less than 12 months experience must obtain a BSN within four years. Skills: Patient care delivery, nursing fundamentals, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and patient evaluation.
