Senior Operations Engineer Cyro-Mechanical

• Leadend to endprogramplanning and executionforCryo-mechanicalengineering initiatives includingCryostat installationsmaintenanceand upgrades and associated mechanical designs.

• Developandmaintainintegratedprogram schedules critical paths and risk mitigation plans across internal teams and external suppliers.

• Develop automated processes which minimize overhead while still providing robust scheduling recordkeepingand inventory management.

• Introduce tools dashboards and reporting mechanisms that improve predictability traceability and engineering throughput.

• Propose design build and deliver solutions that transform large raw data sets into actionable insights and supporton-goingoperational usage.

• Develop tactical schedules that coordinate simultaneous operationsanticipatecoverage gaps and enable leadership to address them proactively.

Required/minimum qualifications

• Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 3 years technical engineering experience
  • OR Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 5 years technical engineering experience
  • OR equivalent experience

Additional or preferred qualifications

• Doctorate in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 3 years technical engineering experience
  • OR Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 6 years technical engineering experience
  • OR Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 8 years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience

• 6 years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 1 year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g. sample documentation product demos).
• Ability to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools to drive innovation and efficiency (e.g. measurement performance modeling and analysis research gathering day-to-day task automation).
• Ability to work in an AI-first environment using modern AI tools to accelerate discovery through hardware development.
• Experience building project schedules managing budgets planning resources and partnering across matrixed teams.
• Ability to establish clear communication channels technical deliverables and accountability structures with vendors and facilitating collaboration with internal engineering teams.
• Experience collaborating with engineering leads to define and implement bestinclass workflows for design reviews DFM/DFT validation and manufacturing readiness.
• Experience implementing or creating systems and reports to track equipment configurations across sites identify available resources and forecast future needs.

Hardware Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119800 - $234700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160200 - $261000 per year.
