Diagnostic Imaging Assistant

Diagnostic Imaging Department Support

Coordinates and organizes an efficient workflow within the Diagnostic Imaging department. Provide support to the Diagnostic area by interviewing/screening patients, completing all patient related paperwork, scanning into PACS, verifying exams are sent to PACS, stocking rooms, assisting, sliding, and transporting patients, and general departmental operations. Cleaning and turning over rooms after every patient including, but not limited to: radiology equipment, table, changing linen and trash, and bed set up.

Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of one year experience in radiology clerical position. Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Synapse/PACS Experience. Previous Cerner experience a plus.
