We invest heavily in a clean, high-tech, and supportive work environment, featuring air-conditioned bays, bright LED lighting, individual digital calendar scheduling, and top-of-the-line equipment (including in-ground Hunter Hawk-Eye Elite alignment racks and Rotary lifts with custom ultra-low arms designed specifically for lowered vehicles).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair on German automobiles (Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and VW).
• Utilize high-end diagnostic scan tools to execute complex test plans and guided fault finding. We use the Autel Maxi-Plus, ODIS and PIWIS.
• Document all work, stories, and inspection photos cleanly into our web-based digital shop management system.
• Perform tire and wheel service using a Hunter Road Force Balancer and mounting machine.
• Execute precision alignments using our in-ground Hunter Scissor Rack and Hawk-Eye Elite system.
• Collaborate closely with service advisors to communicate vehicle needs clearly to clients.
• Assist other technicians with service, repair and diagnostics of varying levels
• Assist other techs with training
• Assist the store manager with workflow to maximize utilization
• Oversee the correct processes in Shop Management System
• Maintain shop equipment
• Update software on all shop scan tools and computers.
• Make sure that the shop is clean
• Make sure the take-off parts are being put back in customer cars, given to parts specialists to sell or put in recycling

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience servicing German automobiles (Factory training or direct brand dealer/independent experience required).
• Licensing: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (Required).
• Technical Proficiency: Deep mechanical aptitude and mastery of suspension, braking, exhaust, turbo, electrical, and engine/drivetrain engineering principles.
• Diagnostic Skills: Tech-savvy with a strong working command of diagnostic test plans and electronic scan tools.
• Tool Skills: Highly proficient with hand tools (we primarily avoid air tools to protect precision components).
• Team-First Mindset: Flexible, detail-oriented, and teamwork-focused with a positive attitude (no "big egos" or "never wrong" mentalities).

Shop Lead Guarantee
Our lead technician receives an 80hr per pay period (2 week) guarantee for their role. They may also receive additional compensation if they exceed their guarantee.

The company has evolved into a routine maintenance and repair facility, an installation specialist, national reseller as well as an international importer and exporter offering the industries most respected brands. We currently operate with three locations; Charlotte, Lake Norman and South Atlanta. Each facility is completely air-conditioned and heated for the comfort of the entire team, including our technicians. Each has been upfitted with bright LED lighting and the industry's most recognizable shop equipment. Our Rotary Lifts were designed and custom ordered with 3" puck style pads that independently adjust to lift at the pinch welds and can accommodate the lowest cars. The shops all feature a waiting lounge area with bar-top stations for working, comfortable couches and oversized chairs to relax as you wait on services to be completed. We focus on providing consistent company-wide standard design elements while embracing the individual locations own unique automotive inspired personality.

We use an industry leading shop management software that provides an all in one solution for clients, advisors and technicians. The program is web-based and operates on the AWS platform. We create a work order for each vehicle that is an individual website accessible through a web link that we provide via email or text.

Our team can add findings and recommendation to update the work order and it can be reviewed in real time by everyone involved. Parts and labor are separated for ease of understanding and clients can digitally approve recommendations that then notify our team minimizing delays. The program even features a built-in messenger app so all communication remains centrally located.
Once the job is complete, our clients can review the order and make payments all online making pickup quick and easy. The entire process is documented in a log so that we can track the services from start to finish insuring the best possible experience.
