Nashville, TN, 37205 - Onsite 3 months+ Contract Experience Level: 1-3 years Department: Critical Care Unit Shift Timings: 06:45- 19:15 Hours Monday to Friday. (3 Days/12 Hours) Per Week: 36 Hours

Unit Capacity: 15 Beds Population Served: Patients with the following diagnosis Cardiac Surgery/Cardiac Transplant/Myocardial Infarction/Congestive Heart Failure/Cardiogenic Shock/Cardiomyopathy/Arrhythmias/S/P Cardiopulmonary Arrest/Post Ventricular Assist Device Placement Ages of Patients Served: Adolescent through Late Adult (14 - 60+) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:2 Core Staffing Plan: Typical RN to patient ratio is 1:2. The direct patient care staff consists of Registered Nurses, Patient Care Techs.

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
