CNC Operator

CNC OperatorFreeman Boatworks — known around the world for exceptional quality and performance — is looking for a CNC Operator to join our growing team.In this role, you'll play an important part in our production process. You'll help prepare and operate CNC machines to cut fiberglass kits, organize and label materials, track inventory, and make sure each build has the correct parts ready to go. If you enjoy hands-on work, have an eye for detail, and like being part of a team that takes pride in what they build, this could be a great fit for you.Duties and ResponsibilitiesHandle materials safely and in accordance with company proceduresSet up, operate, and/or program CNC machinery as requiredFollow all safety policies and proceduresPerform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenanceReview and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsInspect finished components to ensure quality and specification requirements are metComplete required production and quality documentation accuratelyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow direction from supervisors and team leads while meeting production expectationsCollaborate effectively with team members across departmentsQualificationsPrevious CNC operator or Eastman machinery experience preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, reaching, bending, and squattingStand and walk for 8+ hours per shiftWork in awkward positions or tight spaces as neededComfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environmentTolerance for exposure to heat, cold, dust, fumes, and outdoor elementsPossible exposure to acetone, resin, fiberglass, putties, glues, and cleanersWhat We OfferCompetitive weekly payPaid time off plus paid holidaysComprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, company-paid life and disability insurance, and more!401(k) with company matchA people-focused workspace built on teamwork and innovationPlease note: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
