Associate Attorney (Corporate/Real Estate) (Cleveland)

Innovative Driven is currently seeking a dynamic attorney with at least two years of corporate/business law experience to join the collaborative and inclusive team at a highly-respected, full-service law firm client based in Cleveland, Ohio.

This firm is in growth mode, and the role will be a split of complex transactional matters and commercial real estate. It is the perfect opportunity for a candidate who wants to do complex transactional work at a collaborative and congenial firm, without being siloed into a specific practice group!

The role will be onsite to begin, but the firm allows a generous hybrid/remote flexibility once the attorney is fully up to speed with his/her practice!

Additionally, the firm has highly reasonable billable hour expectations. Bonus eligibility begins when reaching 1500 billable hours!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Negotiate, draft, and edit business contracts and agreements
• Manage client files and corporate records, including organizational documents, resolutions, and minutes
• Facilitate data rooms for transactional and M&A matters
• Prepare and record deeds for commercial property transactions
• Create and maintain lease abstracts
• Complete annual report filings with various states, ensuring ongoing compliance requirements
• Conduct due diligence for transactional and commercial real estate deals
• Collaborate with senior attorneys

REQUIREMENTS:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active Admission to practice law in Ohio
• At least 1 year of corporate/business law experience from within a law firm
• Experience with all Microsoft Office and 365 and Outlook
