About the Opportunity: Institutional Marketing Manager An established institutional investment organization is seeking an Institutional Marketing Manager to join its growing marketing team. This newly created position offers the opportunity to build, shape, and elevate the firm's institutional marketing efforts while partnering directly with senior leadership and investment professionals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution. Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) You’ll have the opportunity to develop compelling investment-related content, support thought leadership initiatives, and help drive awareness among institutional investors and industry stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop, write, edit, and manage institutional marketing content across multiple channels Partner with investment professionals and leadership to create thought leadership pieces, market commentary, presentations, and investor-facing materials Translate complex investment concepts into clear, compelling messaging Support strategic marketing initiatives designed to enhance brand awareness and engagement Collaborate cross-functionally with investment, client, and business development teams Manage content calendars, editorial workflows, and marketing projects from concept through execution Ensure consistency of messaging and brand standards across all communications Identify opportunities to improve content effectiveness and audience engagement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Finance, Business, or a related field 5-10 years of experience in institutional marketing, investment communications, asset management marketing, or financial services marketing Exceptional writing, editing, and content development skills Experience creating content related to investments, capital markets, retirement, wealth management, or financial services Ability to simplify complex financial topics for diverse audiences Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities Experience working directly with senior leaders, investment teams, or subject matter experts If you enjoy translating investment ideas into compelling stories and want the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, we'd welcome the opportunity to connect.
