Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE). Contract Length: 13 weeks. Start: ASAP. Guaranteed Hours: 36. Primary location: Labor/Delivery. Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights. Float Requirement: Postpartum or Mother/Baby (within the same dept). On Call/Call Back Requirement: None. Weekend/Holiday Requirement: depends upon the schedule; no more than 2 weekends per 6 weeks. Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: BLS, NRP, ACLS. Minimum Experience REQUIRED: 3 required. Charting Experience: EPIC/OBIX. Skillset: Spinning Babies experience (or similar); Circulating Cesareans; Good communication skills with patients, co-workers and providers; Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates. Unit Information: Level 2 Rural Hospital; average 70 babies per month; 4 OB/GYN – all female group (95% of deliveries), 2 Family practice (with 15 residents), Pediatric Hospitalists, Anesthesia immediately available, 100% VBAC rate 2025 (40/40); Primary C/S rate 8%. Unit Strengths: Teamwork, Strong ethical drive “to do the right” thing, transparent leadership (yes, we work the floor), knowledgeable, passionate about maternal /child health. Scrub Colors/Uniform: Caribbean Blue – provided by facility. * 3 call-ins can result in termination *. Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required Subject to change. GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed. 36 hour cancellation clause within a 13 week contract.
