Quality Engineering Summer Intern - Hatfield, PA

We are looking for a hard-working and highly motivated individual for the Quality Department. Our paid internship program gives students an opportunity to apply their skills while working on real-world projects. Previous students have found the Curtiss-Wright program to be a very valuable learning experience. Requirements: Strong creative, analytic, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration skills Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office Willingness to learn, adapt and build experience in a development and production environment. Quality Engineer Individual will prepare PowerPoint presentations and Excel data analysis based on the information provided. Conducting hands-on product testing Conduct DOEs Reporting issues and verifying fixed problems Contributing to continuous improvement of our existing testing process Work closely with and support quality, production and engineering initiatives. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills good judgment to ensure delivery of a quality, product within established deadlines. Find, record, and track defects / defectives throughout their lifecycle Responsibilities: Function as a member of a Quality team to support new concepts and technologies. Research new technologies, hardware, and concepts to help improve the quality function. Support experimental trials. Document and report findings. No unsolicited agency submittals please.
