Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers in marine structure projects. Oversee all project phases: site visits, planning, permitting, design development, final construction documents. Develop and approve project scopes, budgets, and schedules. Prepare proposals for professional services and funding opportunities; review and approve project documents for quality assurance and compliance. Act as the primary client point of contact, maintain relationships, ensure satisfaction, identify future work opportunities. Collaborate with the Practice Leader to strengthen client relationships and pursue new business opportunities. Monitor and achieve project financial goals, ensuring profitability and efficiency. Provide technical guidance to staff, advise on engineering challenges and innovative solutions. Lead preparation of project reports, submittals, and technical documentation. Conduct site visits to gather existing conditions, provide construction support, and perform inspections. Work with the Project Assistant on project setup, billing, invoicing, and closeout. Train, mentor, and support junior engineers and staff professional development. PE license required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (AEC) and minimum 4 years of professional experience, or 8 years equivalent experience. Participation in continuing education and professional development programs. Proven experience in project management roles with a track record of successful project delivery. Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire and motivate project teams. Strong organizational and time‑management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Deep technical knowledge in marine structures and project‑specific field. Expertise in project management software and tools, ability to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and documentation. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to project management, quality assurance, and safety protocols. Effective problem‑solving skills and ability to identify issues and implement solutions in a fast‑paced environment. Strong negotiation skills for managing contracts, scope changes, and stakeholder agreements. Strong comprehension of accounting principles for managing project budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation. PE license required. Master's degree in a related field (AEC) preferred. Must complete KCI PM Training and Contract Risk Training and pass the PM Board within 6 months of start date. Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
