Job Summary:

Assist in dispensing medications, managing pharmacy inventory, and providing excellent customer service in a retail pharmacy setting. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support pharmacy operations efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare and dispense prescriptions accurately following physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Verify insurance information and process billing accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate pharmacy records and update patient information.
  
  
• 
  Manage inventory levels, stock medications, and place orders as needed.
  
  
• 
  Provide exceptional customer service and answer patient inquiries professionally.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all safety, compliance, and confidentiality protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Demonstrate at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
  
  
• 
  Hold a valid CPHT or PTCB certification.
  
  
• 
  Meet the new pharmacy tech registration requirements for Pennsylvania (effective since 6/28).
  
  
• 
  Display strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
  
• 
  Possess excellent communication and customer service abilities.
