Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care Cave Creek, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, on-site personal care and assistance to clients in North Phoenix, North Scottsdale, and the surrounding communities such as Anthem and Cave Creek. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure that each client’s needs are met while maintaining their independence and dignity. Whether you're helping with personal care or companionship, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Job detail:

• 12-hour shifts (days/nights) available

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes.
2. Assist clients with daily living activities such as light housekeeping and meal preparation.
3. Support clients with morning and evening routines, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
4. Offer transportation assistance to clients for appointments or errands.
5. Provide hospice support and engage in a variety of activities that enrich the clients' lives.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Direct Care Worker Certification (DCW) or higher qualification (CNA preferred).
2. A minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
3. Must have one on one experience with Lewy Body Dementia
4. Compassionate and respectful attitude towards the elderly and disabled.
5. Must be available 2-3 times per week
6. Strong communication skills in English.
7. Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience with hospice care.
2. Are trained in CPR and First Aid.
3. Possess additional certifications in caregiving.

Employment Type:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time with various schedules available.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Phoenix, Arizona.
