Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Representative in De Soto, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $26.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM Tue 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM Wed 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM Sat 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM Sun 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies across the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate communication channels when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document daily activities, observations, and incident details in accordance with site guidelines. Support emergency response activities and assist with directing occupants, controlling access, and communicating important updates during operational disruptions or other security-related events. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
