InnoSource is seeking applicants to join as an Area Manager at one of our Fortune 500 clients in Niagara Falls, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to further your career in the automotive and manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the smooth and timely flow of plant production ensuring a quality product is delivered to the next operation and customer.
• Achieve the business goals of the operation including cost, quality, safety, and delivery.
• Coach, develop, and support hourly associates.
• Hold associates accountable for attainment of objectives.
• Provide first level supervision within the guidelines of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and applicable labor laws.

Requirements

Skills and Knowledge – Area Manager

• Must have open availability as the plant is open 24 hours a day. This includes days, nights, and weekends.
• 12-hour shifts, 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
• Rotating schedule
• Experience managing multiple projects at once
• Ability to meet production and cost goals
• Ability to hold associates/team members accountable

Education and Experience – Area Manager

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 1-3 years' experience in production manufacturing process and equipment.
• Prior work with training/organizational development or in another function desired.
• Knowledge of Production/Maintenance team structure, operations, and requirements.
• Knowledge of basic HR/training functions.
• Familiarization with budget development/management.
• Demonstrated excellence in establishing/maintaining communications and interpersonal relationships

Benefits & Pay

• Open availability as the plant is open twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, required
• 12-hour shifts, 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am on a rotating schedule
• $40/hour starting pay
• Weekly pay
• Eligible for pay increases dependent on job performance, attendance, etc.
