About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / NICU (CRT)

Location

Charleston, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a Level 4 NICU and Pediatric Cardiac unit
• Deliver age-appropriate respiratory care to pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• May float within scope of practice to meet facility needs based on experience
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Active CRT certification through the NBRC
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license in hand at time of start
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Hands-on experience with pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records
• Background in Pediatric Cardiac or Level 4 NICU settings
