Job Summary


Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include assisting healthcare providers with patient care, ensuring seamless patient flow, and maintaining exemplary patient service.


Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
• Accurately document patient information, provider notes, and clinical updates in Epic EMR.
• Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations, allergy testing, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms, ensuring all clinical supplies and equipment are organized and readily available.
• Perform routine clinical tasks, including specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and other duties as assigned.
• Schedule patients, coordinate follow-up appointments, and assist with patient flow to ensure an efficient clinic experience.
• Answer patient questions, return phone messages, and communicate clinical information under provider guidance.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Experience

• Previous experience using Epic
• Prior allergy or immunology experience

Skills

• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Enjoys working in a close-knit office.
