Daycare Assistant

Job Description Job Description Available shifts: 8:30 a.m to 12:30pm 12:30 pm to4:30 pm Assisting leadcaregiverwith the daily care and supervision of children, maintaining a safe and engaging environment, and supporting their learning and development.Key responsibilities include assisting with activities, managing basic needs, and communicating with parents. Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Safety: Monitor children's safety and well-being during all activities, including playtime, mealtimes, and nap times. Basic Needs: Assist with feeding, diapering, dressing, and personal hygiene. Activity Support: Help plan, prepare, and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs. Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe daycare environment. Communication: Interact with parents, guardians, and other staff to provide updates on children's progress and address any concerns. Observation and Reporting: Observe children's behavior and development, reporting any concerns or progress to lead caregivers or parents. First Aid: Provide basic first aid and assist with medication administration as needed There are two very friendly dogs that share the daycare space with us since this is a home.
