Description Job Title: Pharma Sales Account Rep Job Location: Atlanta, GA Job ID: PSR19m Position Overview Pharmaceutical Sales Territory Representative – Primary Care (Entry Level – Specialty) We are seeking a patient‑focused, innovation‑driven professional to join our sales team and make a difference in the health of others. As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, you will educate, promote, and sell pharmaceutical/healthcare products to physicians and other specialized medical or healthcare providers. You will manage and grow your territory, maintain physician groups, clinics, and proprietary primary care offices, and work closely with management and others to achieve sales goals. Responsibilities Manage territory accounts and identify key decision makers. Inform highly influential physicians about pharmaceutical and medical products. Balance time in front of customers to achieve expected results. Keep product knowledge updated. Plan and compete to win in the healthcare marketplace. Build positive relationships and penetrate large accounts. Develop a customer base through creative thought processes. Create a territory plan including goals and resource allocation (coverage, sampling, grant/education proposals). Gain formulary acceptance/compliance with managed care accounts. Possess scientific understanding of clinical papers. Work as a business partner with customers, proactively seeking new opportunities and tracking long‑term trends. Utilize consultative skills to assist customers with their business needs. Market and sell vertical products. Requirements / Experience / Qualifications Some sales experience and/or abilities. Consultative selling experience preferred. Ability to work remotely and use ZOOM software. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to target health professionals to maximize sales growth and increase product volume. Effective selling skills and product knowledge to influence target health‑care professionals to prescribe promoted products. Analyze territory information to optimize routing and achieve sales results. Utilize sales tools, resources, and supporting analysis to plan activity. Develop and execute plans to maximize selling resources. Pre‑call planning to match HCP needs. Leverage data and customer knowledge to build discussions around HCP and patient needs. Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development. Perform company business in accordance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
