Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Gilbert, AZ 85234. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Gilbert, AZ 85234
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4 days per week
Hours: 6:30 AM-4:00 PM or 7:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay Range: $18-23/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient check-in and check-out and complete accurate patient intake.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and other required documentation.
• Assist with end-of-day batching and related front-office administrative duties.
• Communicate professionally with patients and address questions regarding appointments and administrative processes.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Diploma or equivalent accredited MA training.
• Current BLS certification .
• Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in both front-office and back-office settings .
• Experience with patient intake, scheduling, rooming, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and medical history documentation.
• Experience with IG medication administration .
• Experience with prior authorization processing .
• Experience with insurance eligibility verification and benefits .
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, providers, insurance companies, and other healthcare professionals.
