Requirements: MUST HAVE 18 months combined perm experience in specialty applying for; MUST HAVE 18 months of recent Stepdown experience – travel experience will suffice; MUST HAVE PERM OHIO LICENSE OR COMPACT STATE LICENSE IN HAND; AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS cert required; ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate with acceptable scores required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on the HVTI-Stepdown unit, potentially floating to units J1-2, J33, and ED to care for the same patient population.
• Work rotating D/N shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with flexibility to rotate shifts if operational needs change.
• Cover 3x12-hour shifts per week, including every other holiday.
• Complete assessments such as ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate during orientation.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs in a specialized stepdown setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
