Travel RN-LD jobs in Freeport, IL let you provide expert care to mothers and newborns at the facility, supporting labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. You will monitor maternal and fetal health, assist with deliveries, administer medications, and document in the electronic health record (EHR). To qualify, you need a current Illinois RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are required. Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and EHR systems is recommended. Recommended skills include strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and effective communication with patients and families.
