Monthly incentives after training vary and are based on restaurant profitability. Job Description The Restaurant Leader is responsible for strategic direction, maintaining operational standards, and driving results through people development, sales and profit growth. The role oversees teaching, modeling, and upholding Raising Cane’s culture standards for all crew members, customers, and partners in a fast‑paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Ensure overall financial success of the restaurant – forecasting and budgeting. Ensure overall restaurant compliance with company standards, policies and laws. Hire and terminate management‑level crew members, manage payroll and status changes. Create crew work and training schedules. Develop management‑level crew members through performance management. Act as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling. Monitor profit and loss statements, develop and execute strategy in all areas of financial and operational performance. Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards. Use required tools, forms and logs for shift execution and corrective action. Deploy crew during a shift and provide exemplary customer service. Utilize reward and recognition program for crew. Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval (e.g., discounts, timeclock overrides). Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and ensure facility is in good working order. Achieve and maintain training restaurant status. Achieve “meets expectations” or better metrics in all crew member and operations performance metrics. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years of restaurant or retail management experience. Detail‑oriented, organized, able to manage multiple priorities. Self‑driven, flexible, highly energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively. Recognize problems, set goals, create plans and convert plans into action. Measure performance objectively and subjectively with high emotional intelligence. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and quick to learn new systems. Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed. Professional public dealings consistent with Raising Cane’s policies, brand ambassador role. Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Valid driver’s license.
