Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Active state license required prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient and acute settings working with adults
• BLS certification from American Red Cross
• EMR: Net Health Therapy and Meditech

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients as outpatient or inpatient
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the ordering physician
• Update treatment plans and home exercise programs regularly
• Independently manage a full caseload and determine re-evaluation needs based on insurance authorization
• Work during Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary based on hospital operations

Compliance / Notes:

• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday
