We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable insurance & claims entry specialist to be responsible for all activities associated with patient insurance and entry of Clinical Pathology Claims. To include but not limited to: responsibility for obtaining, verifying patient insurance information and patient claim information on clinical Pathology orders. Knowledge of posting electronic payments and Appeals. Other duties may include covering phones, sorting mail.

Requirements: 

• Communication and Insurance knowledge are required. 
• Medical Terminology is preferred.
• Our final candidate must work well with others. 
• Must be able to operate a computer and essential office equipment. 
• Experience with PowerPath, Allscripts, PowerChart, systems, or prior medical billing is a plus.

Schedule:

• 8 hours shift.
• Day shift- Monday-Friday.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred).

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred ).
