Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

to join our rehabilitation team in an

in-house subacute rehabilitation setting

. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services that help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. Responsibilities: Provide skilled physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance activities, and functional tasks Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team Document treatment sessions accurately and in accordance with professional and facility standards Promote resident safety, comfort, and participation throughout the rehabilitation process Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to support individualized care plans Qualifications: Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Rhode Island Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or similar healthcare settings preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care Position Details: Employment Type:
