Position Contracts Execution Analyst Location Franklin Lakes, NJ Duration 12 Months Contract Total Hours/week 40.00 (Mon-Fri) Shift 1st Shift Description Reporting to the Manager, Contract Execution, this position is responsible for maintaining accurate contract pricing and membership for all U.S. commercial consumable sales contracts, including National & Regional GPO agreements, Local, and Direct agreements. The role ensures that contract data is communicated to customers, distributors, and internal sales teams in response to direct and indirect inquiries. Key examples include preparing dealer notifications, operationalizing contract renewals, loading and processing new business/renewal contracts, maintaining contract pricing, and serving as a functional investigator for service complaints related to direct contract pricing. The analyst collaborates closely with distributor partners, GPOs, the Client/CFN Business Unit Sales team, Contract Offer Development, and membership teams to drive process improvements, governance, and change management initiatives that align with strategic business goals. Essential Responsibilities Prepare dealer notifications and inform servicing distributors of all contract pricing and membership information, including new contracts, renewals, addendums, extensions, and expirations. Proactively operationalize the contract renewal process, leveraging contract reports to guide discussions with sales managers and business units on upcoming expirations. Load and process new business/renewal contracts and addendums efficiently and accurately to meet customer expectations, ensuring proper guidelines are enforced and approvals are received. Maintain contract pricing, making changes or additions to pricing based on requests from Business Units or Sales Managers to preserve market competitiveness; perform price comparisons, identify gaps, and communicate findings before execution in SAP. Act as functional investigator for service complaints related to direct contract pricing; collaborate with contract administrators and membership teams to resolve complaints and document them in the complaints database. Collaborate with distributor and GPO partners to implement process changes and effective policies, delivering sustainable results. Assist leadership in developing and implementing governance processes to standardize and streamline contracting policies, procedures, and processes. Resolve chargeback errors for contract-specific and membership error types in accordance with OLA and SLA expectations, using advanced technical skills to analyze outstanding disputes. Support and propose continuous process and system improvement initiatives across Commercial Contract Operations teams and participate actively on work stream teams and projects. Ensure accountability for key metrics, including KPIs, SLAs, and IIGs, to meet strategic organizational goals. Recognize and communicate the impact of change to Contract Operations to manage customer pricing related issues and perform sales analysis as needed (BI reporting, price calculations, flat credit processes, etc.). Collaborate with Contract Offer Development and sales managers to verify all necessary documents and signatures before contract execution in SAP. Continuously collaborate with the membership team to attach GPO customers to appropriate pricing tiers. Coordinate dispute information with Chargeback Analysts and distributor partners to resolve contract error discrepancies, managing follow-up communications to ensure front-end resolution. Resolve all distributor and sales representative ad‑hoc inquiries (phone/email) promptly. Maintain all Contract Membership training materials and update desktop procedures to support management. Document identified gaps in contracting procedures and collaborate with commercial contracting leaders and managers to develop solutions. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in commercial contract operations and/or related areas. General understanding of end-to-end commercial contract operations management. Experience with ERP (SAP) and reporting (Business Intelligence) systems. Proficient technical skills in MS Access and MS Excel solutions. Strong communication and customer‑centric skills to adapt to client needs while maintaining organizational values. Working knowledge of key business metrics and analytical techniques/tools, including their application in effective contract execution. Proven ability to quickly establish credibility, trust, and support within all levels of an organization. Analytical problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate key business drivers and develop clear solution recommendations. Ability to plan, organize, and manage a variable workload and meet schedules with accurate results.
