Safety Technical SME We are seeking a highly experienced Functional Safety professional with strong expertise in ISO 26262 and
ISO 21448 (SOTIF)
. The consultant will lead safety activities for chassis systems and ADAS-chassis integration while serving as the key safety interface between engineering teams, suppliers, OEM customers, and certification bodies. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of Functional Safety experience in automotive systems Strong expertise in: ISO 26262 Functional Safety ISO 21448 (SOTIF)ASPICE
HARA, FSC, TSC, Safety Goals, ASIL ClassificationFMEA, FTA, FMEDA
Safety Case Development Experience with: Braking Systems (Hydraulic, Electro-Hydraulic, Brake-by-Wire) Steering Systems (EPS, Steer-by-Wire) Suspension & Vehicle Dynamics ADAS-Chassis Integration (AEB, ACC, LKA) Chassis Domain Controllers, Sensors & Actuators Hands-on experience with: Medini Analyze IBM DOORS / Polarion / Codebeamer MATLAB/Simulink dSPACE CANoe Experience working with OEMs, suppliers, and safety assessment bodies Key Responsibilities Lead the complete ISO 26262 safety lifecycle Develop Item Definitions, HARA, Safety Goals, FSC, and TSC Define and manage safety requirements (FSR, TSR, HW, SW) Perform safety analyses including FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA Lead SOTIF activities and safety validation Support homologation, certification, and functional safety assessments Coordinate safety activities across global cross-functional teams Pi-square technologies is a Michigan (USA) Headquartered Automotive Embedded Engineering Services company, Synergy Partner for major OEMs and Tier 1s and their implementation partners in Automotive Embedded Product Development, Projects, Requirements Analysis, Software Design, Software Implementation, Efficient Build, Release Process, and turnkey software V & V Services.
