Material HandlerKelly® is hiring a Material Handler for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing company in Telford, PA.If you have manufacturing experience, take pride in working safely, and are comfortable handling materials in a fast-paced production environment, this could be a great opportunity to build your skills and work toward long-term employment.What You'll DoAs a Material Handler, you'll support press operations and the ink room by ensuring inks, adhesives, chemicals, and other materials are safely handled, accurately delivered, and properly stored.Your responsibilities will include:Performing color pulls to support press approvals, minimize waste, and improve efficiencyReceiving, unloading, staging, moving, and returning inks, adhesives, chemicals, and solvents to designated stock locationsMixing, transporting, and delivering adhesives and inks to presses as neededOpening, mixing, weighing, and returning ink drums to appropriate storage locationsStaging, loading, and preparing hazardous waste shipments and maintaining designated accumulation areasMaintaining clean and organized ink and solvent areas to support a safe work environmentPerforming cycle counts and maintaining accurate inventory recordsCross-training in other departments to support production needsAssisting with training new hires and other team membersFollowing standard work procedures, safety requirements, and plant policiesPerforming additional duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious ink handling, printing, or manufacturing experience preferredStrong work ethic and ability to work independently while coordinating with production teamsAbility to discriminate and match colorsBasic computer skills for inventory and documentation are helpfulForklift certification or ability to obtain certificationAbility to follow established work procedures and safety guidelinesDependable, safety-focused approach to workPhysical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to:Stand, sit, bend, and stoop throughout the shiftLift a minimum of 50 lbs.Leverage loads of up to 400 lbs. using hand trucksWhy This Opportunity?This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, giving you the chance to demonstrate your skills, learn multiple areas of the operation, and pursue a longer-term career opportunity.Ready to get started?
