Job Description
The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking exceptional physician faculty (MD or MD/PhD) for an open-rank and open tenure, full-time position. Academic rank, tenure status, and compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. What we are looking for:
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology
• Eligible for Alabama medical licensure
• Strong clinical acumen and commitment to high-quality, compassionate care
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset

This acquisition added 5,000 employees, 409 beds, and outpatient facilities, which include hospitals in Birmingham, Blount, Chilton, East, and St. Clair counties; the One Nineteen campus; the Trussville Freestanding Emergency Department; imaging centers; and other clinics.
