Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Opening in NY Located in Cooperstown, NY Position Highlights:

• Full-time Orthopedic Trauma Surgery opportunity
• Join an established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and Advanced Practice Clinicians
• Dedicated OR trauma room for urgent and "cold trauma" cases
• OR time allotted for elective trauma reconstructive practice
• General Orthopedic call with Orthopedic Hospitalist support
• Separate call schedules for Spine and Hand
• Coverage of one centrally located Emergency Department
• Referral base of more than 150 Primary Care Clinicians
• Full support staff including APCs
• Interaction with surgical residents and medical students
• Practice within an integrated health system serving an eight-county region
• Academic affiliation with a major medical school
• EPIC EMR
• Visa sponsorship available
Compensation & Benefits:
• $588,390-$690,684 base salary
• Sign-on bonus up to $100,000

Qualifications:
• MD, DO, or MBBS
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Completion of an accredited U.S. Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Orthopedic Trauma fellowship training encouraged but not required
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure
• BLS certification
• DEA registration
