Position Summary

A 4324 client is looking for a results-oriented Senior Credit & Collections Specialist. The candidate will play a pivotal role in managing both credit management and the client collections process while developing strong relationships with our clients as well as working closely with our sales team.

Responsibilities
• Serves as the main point of contact for both internal and external clients related to the credit & collections function.
• Process new client applications, build credit files and recommend credit limits.
• Perform credit reviews to update credit limits and the supporting credit files, as needed.
• Drive sustained collections process improvement by coordinating efforts related to collections management, account reconciliation, handling past-due invoices, and deductions (such as chargebacks and returns).
• Assist with uploading invoices to client web-based portals.
• Application of client payments into our system.
• Process consolidated bills for key clients.
• Run month-end aging reports for finance and provide advice on allowance for doubtful account reserves needed.
• Other projects, as needed.

Your Key Qualities and Skills
• At least 2 to 4 years of related experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience using business, ERP software. Oracle NetSuite experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sales tax and credit card processing software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
