Part-Time Bookkeeper

We are a growing CPA and tax/accounting firm seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping and accounting experience who enjoys working with a variety of business clients in a professional, collaborative, and paperless environment. Responsibilities Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Record and categorize financial transactions Monthly entries for Prepaids, Accruals, Depreciation and amortization Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records Assist with payroll processing and sales tax filings Prepare financial reports and support year-end accounting activities Communicate professionally with clients and team members Qualifications Associates degree or equivalent experience required, bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred. Two to three years’ bookkeeping experience required, preferably within a CPA or accounting firm Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage deadlines and work independently Experience with payroll and sales tax reporting Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and preferably one or more tax programs Strong knowledge in accounting principles and entries Comfortable working in a paperless environment Ability to work calmy and effectively in a deadline-driven environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with CCH Axcess and/or ProSystem Engagement and Tax Part-time position with flexible hours (20-25 hours per week) Remote/hybrid consideration may be available for qualified candidates within New York State Candidates located within driving distance of our Saratoga Springs, NY office will be given priority Salary Expectations $20.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Bucknam & Conley
