About the Job You're Considering

We are seeking an experienced PLM Technical Product Manager with 8+ years of experience to lead the strategy, governance, and optimization of engineering platforms and toolchains within a complex Aerospace & Defense environment. This role combines technical leadership, product ownership, and stakeholder management to ensure digital engineering platforms accelerate product development, improve operational efficiency, and support regulatory compliance.

Your Role

• Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for engineering platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term architectural goals.
• Partner with engineering, software development, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and measurable business outcomes.
• Lead the resolution of technical challenges impacting engineering productivity, platform performance, and project delivery timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and establish metrics to measure platform effectiveness, adoption, and return on investment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver incremental value and support digital transformation initiatives.
• Maintain architecture documentation, technical specifications, and governance standards to ensure consistency across engineering platforms.

Your Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, Engineering Platform Manager, or similar technical leadership role.
• Experience within the Aerospace & Defense industry supporting engineering, product development, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise with PLM and engineering design platforms, including Teamcenter, Enovia, CATIA, CAD, and CAE technologies.
• Proven ability to bridge engineering, software development, and business stakeholders while driving strategic and operational outcomes.
• Experience delivering technology solutions using Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern product management practices.
• Technical knowledge of cloud platforms, data and analytics solutions, software development technologies, and tools such as Python and SQL.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $101,140 to $182,624

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
