A Day in the Driver’s Seat

Start your shift by inspecting your articulated tractor‑trailer, reviewing your route, and loading for the day. You’ll head out to retail locations to deliver packaged ice or transport full truckloads to designated customer sites. At each stop, you’ll unload, rotate, and stock product in merchandisers/iceboxes, then secure your next destination. Throughout the day you’ll navigate changing conditions, interact professionally with store personnel, and keep your vehicle and paperwork in top shape. Depending on business needs, your region, route assignments, and equipment may change from time to time.

What You’ll Do

• Operate Class A CDL articulated vehicles (tractor‑trailers) to deliver ice safely and on schedule.
• Follow an assigned route or haul truckload quantities to specific customer locations.
• Unload, load, and rotate product in merchandisers/iceboxes at retail sites.
• Work in all weather conditions and manage driving in stressful environments.
• Travel frequently between retail stores and the plant; overtime may be required.

Required Background

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current and valid CDL Class A with no restrictions.
• Driving record that meets or exceeds company‑qualifying standards.
• At least 1 year of experience operating vehicles comparable to those assigned for this job.

Preferred Experience

• 3 years of prior route delivery or Direct Store Delivery (DSD) experience.

Physical & Schedule Expectations

• Lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Weekend, night, and holiday availability is required.
• Operate effectively in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment.
