Payroll Support Specialist

Vaco has an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Specialist, which is onsite in the Manasquan, NJ area. For this role you must have your bachelors in human resource management or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of multi-state payroll experience. Responsibilities: Process multi-state payrolls with a variety of pay-cycles; computing wages and deductions in compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws. Review timesheets, wage compilations and other information to reconcile payroll discrepancies. Prepare and update confidential employment records related to hiring, terminations and leaves. Assist with monitoring employee hours and benefits. Ad-hoc projects as requested by senior management team. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in HR Management or related field CPP and/or SHRM-CP or PHR preferred Knowledge of employee relations, unemployment, leave programs and employment verifications. Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with accurate attention to details. Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
