Baylor College of Medicine Houston, TX Job posting number: #7373013 (Ref:26588-en_US) Posted: October 22, 2026 Summary Job Description Seeking a part-time Research Technician I to assist with basic tissue culture, molecular biology, fluid processing, animal husbandry, and other miscellaneous tasks. Job Duties Receives, processes, and archives human blood and tissue samples. Performs basic molecular biology tasks including PCR and immunoassays. Performs rudimentary bioinformatics analyses. Performs basic tissue culture procedures to generate primary cells or maintain existing cell lines. Assists with animal husbandry tasks including mouse weaning and genotyping. Prepares cells for analysis by flow cytometry. Performs other job related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Two years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement. One year of relevant experience.
