Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team in a high-volume Labor & Delivery setting
• Provide and manage direct patient care for high-acuity obstetric patients throughout the labor and delivery process
• Perform circulating duties in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Utilize EPIC (STORK) EMR system for documentation and patient management
• Float to Post-Partum unit as needed, expected 1–2 shifts per week
• Apply fetal monitoring skills in accordance with AWHONN certification standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN License (must reflect Active status at time of submission via Nursys)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience, with documented experience within the past 24 months
• Experience at a high-volume delivery center (200–300 deliveries/month) within the past year
• High-risk and high-acuity obstetric experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Must be comfortable floating to Post-Partum (expected 1–2 shifts/week)
• BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in Labor & Delivery
• Multiple travel nursing contracts previously completed
• Experience with EPIC STORK module
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months
